The village of Duxford, Cambridge is known as the home of the Imperial War Museum
The Wing walks, having filled the airfield with smoke just left the sky, then, thinking it might be over 25 aircraft took off as the rain poured down on the crowds. It must be rare to see so many vintage aircraft in close formation.
As one person next to me remarked
“Is the Spitfire the most beautiful plane ever made? Or is it because of it’s historical place that we think so?”
I guess you can’t separate the two.
